ONE TAKE PRESS is a curated showcase of independent alternative music. We pick one track per artist and link listeners directly to each artist's existing Bandcamp page and support link. We don't host audio, sell music, or take a cut of anything.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or built in collaboration with Bandcamp. "Bandcamp" is used only to describe the platform artists already use. Embedding a link to a publicly available Bandcamp page is a standard, sanctioned use case — the same as music blogs and press outlets do.
By submitting, you confirm: you own the rights to the track or are authorized to submit it; it was written and performed by human musicians (no AI-generated music, vocals, or lyrics); and it fits one of our two genre clusters:
We don't accept: pure rap without rock instrumentation, pop, EDM/electronic, extreme metal (death/black/thrash), or AI-generated music of any kind.
Every submission is reviewed by a real curator before it goes live. We may decline a submission without a detailed explanation — this is usually about genre fit or where we're at with curation, not a judgment on the work. Decisions are made at our discretion.
If approved, you grant ONE TAKE PRESS a non-exclusive right to use your photo, bio, and short excerpts of your track to promote this platform and your inclusion on it, across our own channels. This doesn't transfer ownership of your music or affect your rights anywhere else, and you can withdraw this at any time by requesting removal (see our Privacy Policy).
If a third party contacts us claiming rights to a published track, we'll remove it from the site while we sort things out, ask the submitting artist for basic proof of rights, and restore or keep it down based on what we find. We're not a court — if both sides insist they're right, we'll point you toward resolving it directly or through a lawyer, and leave the track down until that's settled.
This site is provided as-is. We link to external services (Bandcamp and whatever support link you provide) that we don't control and aren't responsible for.
